In response to the challenges posed by the lockdown, Vogue Arabia embarked on a mission to showcase the resilience and empowerment of women through a distinct visual narrative.
As the designer entrusted with this project, my objective was clear: to create a cover that transcended conventional boundaries and resonated with our audience on a profound level. Partnering with esteemed artist Dino Gonçalves, we meticulously crafted a concept that seamlessly merged photography and painting into a cohesive, visually compelling composition.
Utilizing a technique of layering and collage, each element of the cover was carefully curated to convey a sense of depth and complexity, symbolizing the multifaceted nature of womanhood. The result is a cover that not only captures the essence of the moment but also elevates it to a realm of artistic excellence.
